The Pathology department at PRADO, has specially designed laboratory areas for histopathology and clinical pathology. A spacious necropsy room is available for blood collection, plasma separation, conduct of gross pathology examination, organ weights and organ collection. The histopathology section also includes tissue trimming, tissue processing, sectioning, staining and evaluation of stained sections by professional veterinary pathologist.

Clinical pathology section includes facility for testing and evaluation for various parameters of haematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis and other tests as per regulatory requirements. The Pathology Labs are equipped with various autoanalyzers, microtomes, embedding centre and other required equipment. The additional capabilities include immunohistochemistry and special staining technique as per client requirements. Our Pathology Lab also independently supports external projects.
